This morning I had "eggtoast" for breakfast. Yes-- "eggtoast". This is a fried egg on toast. Jack shared some with his Dad one morning, and later asked me to make him some. :) This is his newest "Jackism".
We went to the library for storytime this morning. It's a great program, but I was a little upset last month. On December 18th the first story was about Hannukah. The second story was about Kwaanza. The following stories were about Christmas bears, santa, etc. What's missing here? The actual origin of Christmas. I didn't expect that from them in the first place, however, if they included other religious and cultural holidays I think it's fair to expect some equal time for the actual Christmas holiday to be represented. Just sayin' . . .
Sam's newest words are "waffle", "yes" and "home". All in the last few days! Ok-- and he just said "show"! It's exciting for a parent. :) We get to observe as they grow into little people. It's quite amazing.
